Directing is a rewarding job as you work with all individuals involved in a production from actors to technicians to bring together your creative vision. It is a fantastic opportunity to really shape a production, and learn vital leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Many Directors also start by working as an Assistant Director on an existing
show. Visit Camdram or go to the Cambridge Theatre Facebook group to see which shows are looking for an Assistant Director, and make an application! You can also pitch a show to be performed at the ADC Theatre or Corpus Playroom as a Director for the following term.
