Following the statement released by the ADC Theatre on 19/03/2020 and recent government advice on COVID-19, it has become clear that the coronavirus pandemic will have a considerable impact on theatre in Cambridge – as well as the entertainment industry at large. Indeed this week CUADC has been devastated to cancel the last 6 performances of our Lent Term Musical, Guys and Dolls, as the University has begun to implement more restrictions on social gatherings.
We share the heartbreak of all our members at the cancellation of the Easter season and the loss of one of the most popular events in our calendar, the CUADC Garden Party.
Nevertheless, the CUADC Committee is continuing in its efforts to produce an exciting program of shows and outreach events for Michaelmas term. We look forward to seeing you in October, where we will continue to support and showcase the highest quality of student drama in Cambridge.
