Welfare

We champion creating a safe, supportive and sustainable rehearsal environment, ensuring everyone feels heard, supported and able to enjoy the production process.

The Welfare Officer is a key role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment throughout the production process of a show from the time of onboarding to show week. Welfare Officers help to monitor the well-being of the cast and crew, signposting support and acting as an approachable point of contact. This role works closely with the production team to identify potential welfare concerns, support rehearsals, and ensure that topics such as accessibility, sensitive content and consent are handled appropriately.
