Producing

Producing is an incredibly varied and rewarding role, bringing together the creative and technical sides of a production to keep everything organised, on track, and working towards a shared vision.

As the producer, you'll be at the heart of production. You are essentially the project manager, cheerleader and problem-solver of the show. You’ll help bring the whole production together. You will be involved in:

  • Pulling together the creative and technical teams
  • Scheduling rehearsals and liaising with venues
  • Managing budgets and fundraising
  • Handling publicity and making sure audiences hear about the show (making reels!)
  • Acting as the main point of contact for CUADC/CUMTS and the ADC Theatre
  • Keeping morale high and making sure everyone knows what’s going on
